Creating Contemporary Cornell

AMST 2003/GOVT 2002/HIST 2501

Creating Contemporary Cornell will examine the history of Cornell from1945 – Present.  Using a multi-disciplinary approach, the course will address the bureaucratization, politicization, and globalization of Cornell and the end of loco parentis in the context of World War II, the Cold War, the civil rights movement, Vietnam, and the emergence of China.
